Baby Shower Recipes

1 can 8 oz Crushed pineapple
1 8oz pkg. cream cheese
1 6oz lime jello
2 TBS Sugar
1/2 cup maraschino cherries
1 tsp Vanilla
1 can of 7 UP 12oz
3 drops of green food coloring
green grapes


Dissolve lime jello in 1 1/2 cup boiling water. Let chill till it’s a syrup like form. In smaller thawed chunks add cream cheese to jello and beat on low till smooth with electric mixer. Stir in (drained) pineapple, vanilla, food coloring, sugar. Then add 7 up. Chill till set then dice several green grapes in 3rds mix in the maraschino cherries and sprinkle all these over the top! Everyone will think its divine!

2 cups sour cream
1 cup mayo
1 cup miracle whip
2 TBS dill weed
2 TBS dried onion flakes
2 TBS parsley flakes
1 tsp seasoning salt
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp minced garlic


Mix all ingredients thoroughly and refrigerate till party. Set out in pretty dipping bowl and serve with a platter of veggies, some crackers and/or chips!



16 oz Small Shell Pasta
1 pkg. imitation crab meat
2 1/4 cup mayo
1 cup of milk
1/2 cup sugar
4 green onions
1 sm. bottle of capers (optional but recommended)
1 green pepper diced small bits
2-3 celery stalks diced small bits
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dill weed
pepper to taste

Boil Shells as directed on box or package. Thaw crab if frozen. In large size bowl put cooked, drained shells. Add mayo blending well throughout pasta. Add milk, sugar, salt and again stir well. Add green pepper, onion, celery, capers and seasonings - mix all well and chill in fridge prior to serving. This is an all time favorite everyone will love!

2 liter bottle of gingerale
3 3oz. cans frozen orange juice
1 can pineapple juice
1 3oz. can frozen lemonade juice
5 pkgs. cherry cool aid
2 and a half pounds of sugar

Allow frozen juices to thaw and add ginger ale lastly


Mix all ingredients together well adding some ice cubes.

You can purchase enough of the following ingredients for layering in a large sized fruit punch bowl or other see through container for a beautiful crowd pleasing treat!

prepared vanilla pudding
Angel food cake - cut into small sized pieces
frozen strawberries and strawberry glaze
Bag of frozen or fresh Blueberries
Bananas - sliced and whipped topping for top

Mix thawed strawberries with glaze. Allow blueberries to thaw if frozen and layer all ingredients accordingly:

Cake, pudding, strawberry mix, banana, blueberries. Keep this routine going till near top and add the final whipped topping. You can sprinkle some decorative colored sugar sprinkles over the top just before serving too! This is lovely to look at and scrumptious to eat!

Mix 3 tsp sugar, 3/4 cup butter (soft) and 2 cups crushed pretzels - Pour into baking pan and bake for 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Then mix 8oz softened cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and 1 tub of whipping cream and pour over pretzel mixture. Third and final step: mix 6 oz strawberry jello with 2 cups hot water and add 10 oz frozen strawberries till it starts to set up and pour over top. Keep refrigerated till ready to serve.
